We see a variety of orthopedic cases - sports, industrial, pre/post surgical, geriatric, post partum, etc. This PT owned clinic supports professional growth and autonomy, collaboration, flexibility, and family balance. Current Hawaii Physical Therapy License is required. 1 year outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome to start your orthopedic PT career here! We support continuing education in order to provide our patients with the best care possible. Responsibilities Perform initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and return to work or sport assessments Devise and execute detailed, effective treatment and care programs for patients Communicate and coordinate with patients' physicians to ensure a consistent level of care Effectively communicate and coordinate with patients and caregiver to ensure that their problems, concerns, and goals are addressed Record daily SOAP and regular Progress notes on EMR Assist administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiries Comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations Complete at least 30 hours of continuing education every two years Qualifications Current Hawaii state physical therapy license required Current CPR Certification required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to create a positive, nurturing environment Familiarity with documenting on EMR The ability to work well and make decisions in a high-stress environment
