Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and chronic conditions. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address patient goals and functional limitations. Deliver hands-on interventions, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or traction. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, injury prevention, and home exercise programs. Monitor and document patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure clear, accurate EMR documentation. Collaborate with referring physicians, other healthcare providers, and clinic staff to coordinate care. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area in compliance with infection control standards. Stay current with best practices through continuing education and professional development.
Requirements:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program. Current state license to practice Physical Therapy. Experience in an outpatient orthopedic or hospital setting preferred. Strong manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills. Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities.
