1 Description American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an inpatient acute care assignment, requiring an active Idaho PT license and prior inpatient-acute experience. Details Inpatient acute care setting 4x12-hour day shifts per week 13-week contract Requirements Graduate of a nationally accredited physical therapy program required Current Idaho Physical Therapy License required (license required if applicable) Active AHA BLS certification required Prior inpatient acute care experience required Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs Must be able to maintain prolonged standing and/or sitting positions 2 current references required: 1 from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 from a peer or supervisor in the position's specialty within the last 3 years Additional Information Responsibilities include evaluating and assessing referred patients, formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with medical staff, case managers, social workers, and adjusters May supervise physical therapy assistants and aides Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
