Job Description

We currently have multiple openings for PT. Negotiable retention bonus with signed, fulfilled contract. Service areas include Bonners Ferry, Clark Fork, Priest River, Sandpoint, and down into Coeur D' Alene. Welcome Home Healthcare Services (WHHS) is currently seeking a qualified and compassionate physical therapist to care for our patients in their home environment. WHHS is a rehabilitative medical provider, offering Skilled
RN, PT, OT, HHA
services.
Physical Therapist Primary Function:
Physical therapists provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent permanent physical disabilities. Restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health. Patients are mostly geriatric recovering from surgery or disabling conditions such as low back pain, arthritis, diabetes and heart disease.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing initial and ongoing assessment to determine level of functioning, including OASIS Assessment at appropriate time points. A physical therapist gathers background data, reviews referrals, selects and modifies evaluation tools, and evaluates patients determining the level of patient's physical and psychosocial functioning. Developing and revising the plan of care in consultation with the physician and other care-team members. Responsible for planning, evaluation, and treatment implementation of assigned caseload. Preparing clinical progress notes. Supervising therapy assistants and home health aides as appropriate. Evaluating outcomes. Educate patients and/or families about proper safe use and recommend methods for installation of adaptive equipment.
Requirements:
Currently licensed by the Idaho Physical Therapy Licensure Board. Minimum of two years of appropriate experience as a PT. $80,000.00 - $118,000.00 per year
