Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing physical therapy services in a supportive, school-based environment. Beginning with a comprehensive two-day orientation on August 3 and 4, you'll help students reach their full potential from August 7, 2026, through May 20, 2027, working part time (15 hours/week, two days a week) onsite. This position offers direct access to a same-specialty supervisor, ensuring you have the mentorship and expertise you need for ongoing professional growth. What you'll bring: Active physical therapy licensure and credentials for the state Prior experience, or strong interest, in working with school-aged children Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams, families, and students Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently Commitment to continuous learning and best practice in school-based therapy Your key responsibilities: Deliver onsite physical therapy services, creating and implementing individualized plans that address student needs Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and staff to support students' academic and functional success Participate in regular professional development, monthly meetings, and roundtable discussions for knowledge sharing and community building Utilize all available equipment and testing materials to assess and track student progress Engage fully in the "Buddy Program", performance reviews, and process improvement initiatives Connect with colleagues through an easy-to-use intranet platform designed to foster communication and resource sharing You'll be welcomed in a professional setting that prioritizes ongoing support - including frequent check-ins with your supervisor, an innovative onboarding experience, and opportunities to offer feedback on processes.
