This contract opportunity, based in a welcoming school environment near Arlington Heights, IL, offers the chance to work onsite with dedicated educators and fellow therapists while enjoying a balanced, part-time schedule—just two days (15 hours) a week. The assignment spans the full academic year, with orientation on August 3rd and 4th, students' first day on August 7, 2026, and concluding May 20, 2027. Begin your assignment supported by a thorough orientation, enhanced by a "Buddy Program" designed for new hires. The school provides all necessary equipment and up-to-date testing materials, ensuring you're set up for success from day one.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Licensed Physical Therapist with experience or interest in school-based practice Strong communication and collaboration skills Enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their educational goals Familiarity with IEPs and documentation is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver PT services to students onsite, implementing treatment plans tailored to individual needs Engage in monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and process improvement projects Participate in annual performance reviews and regular 1:1 check-ins with leadership Collaborate and connect with regional colleagues through an innovative, user-friendly intranet platform Contribute to a supportive, learning-focused environment This position also offers access to professional development courses to strengthen your expertise.
