Skills and Experience Desired:
Active Physical Therapy license in Illinois Prior experience working with children or within school settings preferred Proficient in designing individualized treatment plans for students with diverse physical needs Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, staff, and families Ability to document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' physical abilities to determine treatment needs Develop and implement tailored therapy programs that enable students to achieve educational and functional goals Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support inclusive classroom participation Assist with transition planning and recommend adaptive tools or modifications as needed Provide ongoing education and guidance to teachers, staff, and families regarding therapy goals and progress Maintain detailed records of interventions, progress, and outcomes
