Job Description

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a skilled nursing facility in Canton, IL as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. and we'll connect you with a recruiter who'll reach out with more details. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Illinois Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred. Ability to manage caseloads in a SNF environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Preferred Qualifications Prior travel therapy experience preferred. Experience with restorative nursing programs and documentation systems preferred.
Assignment Details Shift Hours:
08:30-16:30.
Schedule:
Five 8-hour shifts per week.
Guaranteed hours:
35 hours per week. Candidates may be expected to float to other nearby facilities as needed. and you will be contacted by a recruiter who will give you more information. Impacting Patient Care Provide rehabilitation services that support functional recovery and quality of life for residents in a skilled nursing setting. Work collaboratively with nursing and therapy colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans. Document care thoroughly to support outcomes and continuity of care. Location Highlights Canton, IL offers accessible outdoor and cultural options within short drives. The city is near the Spoon River for local fishing and boating and is approximately 45 minutes from Peoria for additional dining and entertainment options. Canton is within one hour of several state parks, including Spring Lake Park, and provides a suburban lifestyle with quick access to regional highways and community events.
