Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity delivering impactful physical therapy services to students in a dynamic school setting near Elgin, IL. Provide support during the Extended School Year (ESY) program, working from July 6, 2026, to July 30, 2026. This role offers a focused schedule—Monday through Thursday, 7:45 AM to 12:15 PM—across two schools conveniently located on the same campus, serving preschool through 8th grade. Ideal candidates should have experience delivering school-based physical therapy services, ensuring students meet established IEP goals. You'll design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate sessions and play a crucial role in tracking and reporting student progress throughout the summer term.
Skills & Qualifications:
Licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Illinois (required) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric physical therapy setting preferred Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and relevant therapies for preschool to middle school students Effective communication skills for collaboration with educational teams and families Ability to manage, collect, and report student data in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
