Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract role supporting students aged 3-21 in a vibrant school setting serving a diverse population near Herrin, IL. This full-time opportunity runs from the new school year through EOSY 2027, and offers a unique chance to make a difference while enjoying an active, small-town lifestyle. This assignment involves working with a caseload of approximately 40 students, collaborating with a self-sufficient team that includes experienced PTAs whom you'll supervise. The position requires travel between school sites, and you'll be reimbursed for mileage—ideal for those who enjoy variety in their day. Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid PT licensure in Illinois, or eligibility for licensure Previous pediatric or schools-based experience highly desired Strong team-minded attitude, able to effectively communicate and collaborate with school staff Ability to supervise and mentor PTAs with professionalism and support Comfortable adapting to multiple locations during the week
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality PT services to students aged 3-21 Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Supervise and guide PTAs, reviewing treatment approaches and student progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to maximize student success Maintain up-to-date documentation in accordance with school and district policies
