Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Illinois (IL PT) Previous experience or genuine interest in school-based physical therapy Comfortable working with a diverse caseload of K-12 students Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each student
Role Responsibilities:
Provide tailored physical therapy assessments and interventions for students across all grade levels Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and other professionals Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and document therapy sessions Offer support and consultation to staff and parents on strategies to promote student mobility and access Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
