Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Illinois Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and classroom staff Strong communication and interpersonal skills Organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation Flexibility to work on-site across locations as needed
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine students' physical and functional abilities Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support educational goals Deliver direct therapy services and track student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary team discussions Educate staff and caregivers on interventions and adaptive strategies Keep accurate, timely records in compliance with district and state requirements
