Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Olympia Fields, IL at a hospital where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Illinois Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting preferred. Ability to perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document patient progress in an electronic medical record. Client requires availability for some late-day coverage (closing at 7:00 p.m.) on at least two days per week. Preferred Qualifications Previous travel therapy experience preferred. Experience with adult inpatient populations preferred. Experience with mobility assistance, therapeutic exercise, and discharge planning preferred. Assignment Details Shift hours include combinations of 10:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., with two late-day closings required per week. Schedule follows a Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday pattern with variable start times as noted. No on-call requirement. You will support patient recovery, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to discharge planning and functional outcomes in an acute hospital environment.
