Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling school-based setting as a part-time PT, working directly with students and making a meaningful impact in their educational experience. This onsite position offers a contract opportunity, beginning with orientation on August 3 and 4. The assignment runs through the academic year, from the students' first day on August 7, 2026 to May 20, 2027. With a manageable schedule of 15 hours per week across two days, this role is perfect for professionals seeking flexibility and a collaborative environment.
What You'll Bring:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Experience in school or pediatric PT settings is strongly preferred Familiarity with IEPs, school documentation, and therapy within educational models Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Enthusiasm for supporting students' diverse needs in a school environment
Your Responsibilities:
Conduct PT assessments and implement therapeutic services for students ages K-12 Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to develop student-centered goals Maintain accurate records and progress notes for each student Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions Participate in monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and annual performance reviews Contribute to ongoing process improvements for optimal service delivery
