Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a supportive and enriching environment as a school-based physical therapist with a contract assignment set to begin at the start of the 2026-2027 school year. Work part-time onsite, dedicating your expertise to a vibrant educational setting near Schaumburg, IL. Orientation is thoughtfully structured across August 3 and 4, ahead of the students' first day on August 7, providing a seamless transition as you settle into your new role. The assignment concludes on May 20, 2027.
What You'll Bring:
Current credentials as a Physical Therapist with experience in school-based or pediatric settings Genuine enthusiasm for supporting students with diverse needs Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Willingness to work two days per week, committing to 15 hours each week Ability to integrate feedback and adapt to new environments
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective PT services to students as outlined in their educational plans Conduct assessments, document progress, and communicate outcomes with educational teams and families Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and supervisors during regular meetings and roundtable discussions Participate in annual performance reviews and ongoing process improvement initiatives Regularly connect with colleagues across the region via a dynamic intranet platform
