CLIENT'S REQUIRED QUALIFICIATIONS
Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required from an accredited program. Must hold an active Illinois physical therapy license and meet school-based certification requirements. Experience working with children in an educational setting.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Evaluate students' gross motor function, mobility, and physical access needs to determine eligibility for school-based PT services. Create and carry out individualized interventions that support educational goals (often documented in IEPs/504 plans). Work with teachers, special educators, parents, and other specialists to integrate therapy into the school environment. Keep accurate records of services, student progress, and required district/state reporting. Suggest adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and strategies that help students safely access school activities. What to expect from
