Qualifications:
Valid and current state Physical Therapist license (or eligibility) Experience in hospital-based or outpatient therapy settings preferred Knowledge of safe patient handling and care practices Excellent communication and documentation skills Commitment to patient privacy, confidentiality, and professional codes of conduct Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining required
CEUs Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, develop, and modify treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals and physician's directives Delegate and direct therapy services to assigned patients, ensuring superior quality of care Create functional treatment programs aimed at enabling patients' smooth return to community living Educate patients, families, students, and colleagues in best practices and therapy goals Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records and documentation Actively participate in professional growth activities, including student mentorship and competency development Champion a culture of safety in handling patients, materials, and the working environment Adhere to all standards for appearance, attendance, and professional ethics
