Job Description
Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Physical Therapist working in a school-based environment near Junction City, KS. This full-time W2 contract opportunity is designed for professionals committed to helping children achieve their full potential through movement, mobility, and functional skills development. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Current state Physical Therapist license in Kansas (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare setting preferred Strong knowledge of pediatric physical therapy best practices and IEP processes Ability to engage effectively with students, educators, and families Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skillsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and needs related to gross motor skills, balance, and physical mobility Develop and implement customized therapy plans and interventions Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support classroom adaptation and student success Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and provide input as a specialist Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environmentPerks & Benefits:
