Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life. Your expertise will support a diverse patient population across an outpatient setting. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine physical therapy needs using physiology and anatomy knowledge. Develop and implement tailored care plans that align with patient goals and medical requirements. Administer various therapeutic interventions including trigger point therapy, orthopedics techniques, and geriatrics-focused treatments. Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings. Document patient progress accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention strategies, and home care routines to promote ongoing recovery outside clinical settings. Requirements Valid certification as a Physical Therapist (PT) from an accredited program. Eligible for licensure with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques. Skilled in creating effective care plans tailored to individual needs across diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics. Proficiency with EMR systems for documentation and patient management. Experience in discharge planning, home & community care programs, and outpatient clinics.
