Job Description
This Is the Kind of Physical Therapy Role That Brings You Back to Why You Chose PT You did not go through years of school, clinical rotations, and boards just to feel rushed, distracted, or like you are constantly playing catch-up. You chose physical therapy to evaluate deeply, think critically, and deliver care that actually changes lives . But most roles slowly pull you away from that. Schedules get tighter. Attention gets split. Clinical thinking gets replaced with speed. And over time, you feel the gap between the clinician you know you can be and the environment you are working in. At Ervin Physical Therapy, we built this role to close that gap. This is a clinic where physical therapy leads every decision , where your clinical judgment is respected, and where your day is structured around delivering real outcomes, not managing chaos . Whether you are a new grad looking to build real confidence, or an experienced PT ready for autonomy without burnout, this is where your career starts moving forward again. Why This Role Is Worth Your Time Practice Real Physical Therapy . You are set up to evaluate, treat, and progress patients with intention, not rush through visits. A Workday That Feels Sustainable . Structured flow. Clear expectations. A pace that allows you to stay sharp all day. Growth That Actually Happens . Mentorship when you need it. Autonomy as you earn it. Clear pathways forward. Your Clinical Judgment Is Respected . You are trusted to think, adjust, and drive patient outcomes without micromanagement. Why This Physical Therapist Role Is Different Protected One-on-One Care . You treat one patient at a time. No bouncing between rooms. No split attention. No diluted care. Clinical Autonomy Without Productivity Pressure . Your decisions are based on clinical reasoning, not quotas or volume expectations. Mentorship That Accelerates Your Growth . New grads receive structured onboarding and real support. Experienced PTs step into collaboration, specialization, and leadership. A Sustainable Schedule That Protects Your Energy . A structured day that allows you to stay focused in the clinic and present in your life outside of it. Therapist-Owned, Clinician-First Culture . Decisions are made by people who understand physical therapy, not spreadsheets. Our Mission Care that creates real change. We believe great outcomes come from time, trust, and consistency . No unnecessary noise. No productivity pressure. No shortcuts. Just high-quality physical therapy delivered with purpose . What You Will Do as a Physical Therapist You will: Perform thorough orthopedic and musculoskeletal evaluations Build progressive, individualized plans of care Deliver hands-on treatment and targeted exercise programming Provide clear, effective patient education that drives compliance Track measurable outcomes and adjust plans intelligently Collaborate with a team that values evidence-based decision-making Complete documentation that supports care without taking over your evenings This is PT that feels focused, present, and outcomes-driven again. Who Thrives Here You will thrive here if you: Care more about doing it right than doing it fast Value autonomy, ownership, and accountability Take pride in measurable patient outcomes Enjoy educating and coaching patients toward independence Hold yourself to a high clinical standard Want a career that grows instead of burning you out New Graduate Physical Therapists You do not need perfection. You need structure, repetition, and guidance. Your first 90 days focus on: Building evaluation confidence Strengthening clinical reasoning Learning progression strategies Delivering plans you can clearly explain and defend What that looks like: Guided onboarding Consistent mentorship and feedback Protected pace to learn without pressure Real collaboration to accelerate your growth This is a first job that builds momentum, not burnout. Experienced Physical Therapists You already know what great care looks like. Here, you get: Clinical freedom without productivity pressure Collaboration without micromanagement Opportunity to develop a specialty A path into mentorship or leadership If you want to level up without sacrificing your standards, this is that environment. The Impact You Will Make Every day, you will help patients: Reduce pain through intelligent progression Restore independence in daily life Return to sport, work, and activity with confidence Build long-term strength and capacity Understand and take ownership of their care Achieve real, measurable outcomes Your work will be visible. Your outcomes will matter.
