At Baton Rouge General, Physical Therapists play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and improve quality of life. Our rehabilitation teams focus on collaboration, compassionate care, and clinical excellence to support every patient's recovery journey. This area works largely with patients who have lymphedema and/or are undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment. Prior experience with lymphedema and some wound care treatment is ideal but we have a great staff of OTs and PTs with many years of experience who are willing to help train and we can certainly discuss the option to be aided in obtaining a certification in lymphedema care.
