In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing comprehensive treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Your expertise will support individuals across various settings, including inpatient hospital units, outpatient clinics, home health environments, and community care programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, with a passion for delivering patient-centered care that fosters recovery and independence. Key responsibilities include assessing patient needs through detailed evaluations, designing personalized care plans, and utilizing evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless discharge planning and continuity of care. Your role is vital in promoting optimal health outcomes through effective patient care management and adherence to clinical protocols. Shift 8-5pm Days Education Required
  • Bachelor's degree in physical therapy. Experience Required
  • Minimum of 2 years Certifications Required
  • Current physical therapy license in the state of practice.
KSAs Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process. Excellent judgment and decision-making skills in order to deal with a variety of patients and diagnoses. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to remain flexible with fluctuating schedules based on patient demand. Job Duties Performs evaluations and provides treatment programs to facilitate patient specific goals. Assesses the patent's response to treatment and recommends treatment plan changes as appropriate. Maintains patient records according to documentation standards, policies, and procedures. Attains established productivity levels set forth by administration, including but not limited to access to care, patient experience and quality. Assists in program development and enhancement to meet patient and community needs. Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style. Performs other related duties as assigned.
