Reimbursements when applicable (details discussed as needed) What You'll Do Manage an assigned case load independently in a physical therapy setting. Provide evaluation and treatment for a range of patient diagnoses aligned to inpatient rehab, acute/PCC, outpatient, and skilled nursing services. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient goals and plan of care. Document care using the facility's EMR system(s) (EPIC / Meditech Expanse / Wellsky; system specifics vary by setting). Deliver therapy for medically complex and/or rehabilitative populations (including spinal, neuro, orthopedic, and post-procedure recovery). Participate in onboarding including general hospital orientation plus departmental and site-specific orientation (typically 2-3 days ). Follow scheduling expectations for the unit (including weekend rotation as applicable to the assigned service line). What You Need Required Current Louisiana PT license 1+ years of experience in the specialty Ability to manage a case load independently Experience working with a multidisciplinary team Preferred Prior experience with the specific patient types/setting variety listed below (as applicable to the assignment): Inpatient Rehab (IPR) including spinal cord injuries, TBI, stroke, amputees, multi-trauma, hip fractures, bilateral knee replacements, post-cardiac surgery, post-COVID, and medically complex/debilitating patients Acute/PCC including post-cardiac and post-orthopedic procedures and medically complex/debilitating patients Outpatient including general ortho (surgical/non-surgical), sports medicine, pediatrics (developmental), neuro-specific (higher functioning), and spinal (surgical/non-surgical) Skilled nursing (similar to IPR) About the Assignment This Physical Therapist role supports therapy services across patient populations including inpatient rehab, acute care, outpatient, and/or skilled nursing , with care plans tailored to complex and rehabilitative needs. You'll work within a structured clinical environment using an EMR that may vary by setting and participate in orientation before carrying a full case load.
