Job Description
Ready to Treat Patients Without Burning Out And Grow as a Clinician Again? What if you could be challenged, grow clinically, and still have a life outside of work? What if your clinic invested in mentorship, protected your PTO, and treated productivity as a tool, not a pressure point? At Orthopaedics Plus, we believe the best clinicians thrive when they're supported in achieving their personal, professional, and financial goals. That's why we've built an environment where you can do your best work with great people and still be home for dinner. We're not another outpatient clinic. We're a therapist-owned, fellowship-trained team committed to changing what it means to work in physical therapy. Our focus is on real relationships, meaningful growth, and helping both our patients and our team members reach their full potential.
Who We're Looking For:
Are you a purpose-driven physical therapist who thrives in a collaborative environment? Do you want to grow personally, professionally, and financially while being challenged to become the best clinician you can be? The therapists who thrive at Orthopaedics Plus value mentorship, supportive leadership, and the freedom to use their clinical judgment to help patients succeed. They want to keep learning, continue growing, and work in a place where their career supports their life, not the other way around. If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you!Why Clinicians Are Joining Orthopaedics Plus:
Work That Aligns With Your Values:
Many clinicians leave their current roles because their workplace no longer aligns with the values that brought them into physical therapy in the first place. At Orthopaedics Plus, our values guide how patients are treated every day, how we support one another, and how decisions are made. Meaningful Results- Everyone leaves as a success story. Success isn't just about finishing a treatment plan. It's about helping patients return to the things that matter most to them, whether that's getting back to running, lifting their kids, or simply living without pain. Teamwork
- Collaboration leads to extraordinary results. You'll work in an environment where clinicians share ideas, ask for input, and help each other solve tough cases. Collaboration isn't occasional, it's part of how we practice every day. Education
- The best way to learn is to teach . Teaching and learning happen constantly. From mentoring newer clinicians, to sharing techniques, to discussing clinical reasoning between patients, growth is woven into the daily rhythm of the clinic. Challenge the Status Quo
- Can we be better?
Work-Life Balance:
At Orthopaedics Plus, that starts with a schedule designed to be sustainable. Our therapists are expected to treat 62 visits per week, compared to 65+ at other clinics. This consists of 36 hours of patient care and 4 hours of dedicated documentation time built directly into the schedule- all on the clock.
The goal is simple:
finish your workday at work , not at home. This structure allows clinicians to focus on patient care while still having protected time to complete documentation during the workday. We strongly encourage our clinicians to actually use their paid time off . When you take PTO, you don't need to worry about arranging coverage for your patients or scrambling to fill your schedule beforehand. Our team handles the logistics so you can step away knowing your patients and teammates are supported. And we take it a step further. Each year, we offer what we like to call "Paid Paid Vacation." In addition to your PTO, we reimburse up to $1,350 in vacation expenses to help you truly disconnect, recharge, and enjoy time away from work. Because when clinicians return rested and energized, they show up better for their patients, their teammates, and themselves. The result is a schedule that allows you to breathe , not burn out- with realistic caseloads, protected documentation time, paid time off, and zero catch-up expectations.
A Truly Supportive Culture:
Supportive cultures don't happen by accident- they're built intentionally.
Something very important to us:
when meetings, 1:1s, or in-services happen, your productivity expectations adjust accordingly. You're never expected to "make up" visits for time spent learning, collaborating, or developing professionally. Because growth shouldn't happen at the expense of sustainability. New Challenges•Without Burnout:
We have established growth tracks to help you level up, documented, structured, and laid out clearly for you. They cover a wide range of career interests, from leadership to education. You'll be coached, not micromanaged. You'll get dedicated time to grow, not "off the clock" assignments. As you take on new responsibilities, whether in leadership, education, or projects that move the organization forward, you'll have protected time to develop those skills during the workday.Therapist-Centered Environment:
Orthopaedics Plus is owned and led by treating physical therapists, not corporate executives removed from patient care. Because of that, the decisions we make are guided by clinicians who understand what it's like to work in the clinic every day. You won't find layers of corporate red tape here. Our focus is simple:
support great clinicians so they can deliver great care. That means prioritizing our people and protecting sustainable schedules. When clinicians are trusted and supported, both patients and therapists thrive, and that's the kind of practice we've worked hard to build.Mentorship and Professional Development:
We actively invest in the long-term growth of our clinicians. For therapists interested in advancing their manual therapy skills, we cover the tuition for a manual therapy residency program ($5800 value). To support what you learn in the residency, you'll work alongside fellowship-credentialed manual therapists where learning happens every day. Case discussions and shared clinical reasoning services create an environment where developing your craft is part of the normal rhythm of the clinic. Whether you're building a strong foundation as a new graduate or refining advanced skills as a seasoned clinician, you'll be supported in continuing to grow as a physical therapistWhat You'll Do:
Provide thoughtful, patient-centered care while managing your schedule and achieving productivity goals. Apply strong clinical reasoning to help patients navigate their recovery, not simply follow protocols. Maintain clear and timely documentation using our AI-supported documentation system. Collaborate with a team of clinicians who value shared learning, feedback, and professional growth. Attend weekly team meetings, monthly in-services, and regular 1:1 check-ins with your team leader (all on the clock). Build strong relationships with patients and referring providers that naturally lead to meaningful referrals. Contribute to a culture that values your voice, encourages new ideas, and celebrates team successes. OP has amazing team members and a great work culture. The clients we get are great and the fact that we only schedule two patients per hour. The new bonus system has been amazing. My teammates make work a happy place. They also promote a patient-first culture. There is a lot of opportunity and openness to give feedback on processes. The organization has clear growth tracks, which help me see my possible future paths. My favorite part about OP has to be my coworkers. Everyone at OP supports and upholds our culture. I also have a great ability to talk to leadership, which you don't see at a lot of other places. The camaraderie of my coworkers keeps me here. I love helping people who appreciate my work. That joy makes my job rewarding. These are what have kept me here for so many years. I love the friendliness and camaraderie we share in the clinic at OP. It's fun, light, and we work together to help patients and each other. The people I work with keep me here. I enjoy seeing my own patients regularly. The doc time, realistic productivity expectations, and mentorship make this the best PT job I've ever had. I never miss a team meeting or 1:1, because they're built into the schedule. That makes all the difference. We're not hiring for a seat to fill. We're hiring a teammate. One who wants to grow, challenge themselves, and treat patients the right way. You won't just make a difference in your patients' lives- you'll feel the difference in yours.
