This position offers the unique opportunity to work in more than one setting, starting in Chelsea and transitioning to Revere in July. Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment beginning in Chelsea, moving to Revere in
July Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required (Master's or Doctorate preferred per licensure guidelines) Valid Physical Therapist license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification 1-2 years' experience in hospital, rehab, or ambulatory settings Demonstrated orthopedic physical therapy experience Proficiency with EMR systems and medical terminology Excellent case management, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients and establish individualized plans of care Interpret physical therapy evaluations and test results Set treatment goals, perform manual therapy, guide exercises, and instruct use of assistive devices Engage patients and families in the rehab process and educate as needed Consistently document progress, re-evaluate plans, and complete billing accurately Supervise PTAs per policy and regulation Participate in quality improvement initiatives
