Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Client prefers experience with orthopedic diagnoses, manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and functional training. Experience with electronic medical records and timely, accurate documentation, including goal writing and letters of medical necessity. Ability to evaluate patients comprehensively and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on clinical reasoning and physician direction. Ability to supervise and delegate tasks to therapy aides or assistants when applicable. Maintain professional licensure and comply with state practice act and facility policies.

Preferred:

experience participating in student clinical education and working within performance improvement initiatives.
