Key Qualifications:
Current Physical Therapist licensure required Previous experience providing physical therapy services within a school environment is strongly preferred Comfortable managing a caseload of 11-15 students, delivering a range of direct and consultative services (A, B, and C grid) Able to work independently—no PTA supervision is involved Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff Organized, with the ability to manage varying schedules and locations efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized physical therapy programs tailored to students' needs Travel between two school buildings to support students on your caseload Deliver all required services directly, supporting IEP goals and student success Maintain accurate and timely documentation Consult with teachers and families regarding strategies for maximizing students' functional independence Contribute to team meetings and share expertise on physical development in the school context
