Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity awaits a dedicated Physical Therapist interested in making a meaningful difference in the school setting. This contract position is based near Northampton, MA, supporting K-8 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. With a schedule of 18 hours per week, you'll manage a manageable caseload of 11-15 students across two buildings, focusing on helping young learners achieve their full physical potential.
Key Qualifications:
Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required Experience in a school-based or pediatric environment strongly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt treatment plans and interventions for a variety of needs and developmental levels Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students in grades K-8 Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans aligned with student IEPs Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and interventions Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care Support students in achieving greater mobility, independence, and participation in school activities This contract position features a competitive pay range between $50 and $58 per hour, along with weekly pay for convenience and access to 401k retirement plans to help you plan for your future.
