Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant supporting Extended School Year (ESY) programming. Role:
Work closely with students in a school-based environment, utilizing your expertise in pediatric therapy to help create and implement effective treatment plans. What We're Looking For:
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with experience in healthcare or school-based settings Proven background working with pediatric populations or within schools preferred Ability to assess, design, and implement student-specific therapy plans Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators and families Organized, flexible, and independent, capable of managing your own schedule
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct PT services to students participating in ESY programs Evaluate, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed for optimal outcomes Document services and communicate progress with the educational team and families Foster a supportive, encouraging atmosphere for all students This opportunity allows you to focus on impactful, student-centered work while maintaining control over your weekly schedule.
