Schedule:
Travel assignment (full-time hours expected)
Required Qualifications:
Valid and current Physical Therapist license Clinical experience in outpatient or hospital-based therapy preferred Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles for varied patient populations Ability to design and implement patient-centered treatment plans Excellent documentation and communication skills Commitment to professional development and ethical conduct
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate assigned patients comprehensively and design goal-oriented, functional treatment plans in accordance with each patient's medical needs and physician directions Modify therapy interventions as patient progress dictates Delegate and oversee therapy services performed by assigned team members, providing clear direction and guidance Educate patients, families, students, and peers, fostering a safe and supportive environment Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation for all therapies delivered Uphold professional codes of conduct and participate actively in ongoing performance improvement initiatives Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including policies around safe patient handling, infection control, and work environment awareness Engage in continuing education and set individualized professional development objectives in collaboration with leadership
