Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity awaits for a skilled Physical Therapist seeking a contract role within a welcoming school environment near Sudbury, MA. This position, beginning July 1 and concluding July 30, offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time engagement, with a commitment of four days per week. Enjoy the chance to work with a diverse K-12 student population, supporting their development and physical wellbeing during the busy extended school year session.
Essential Qualifications:
Current and active MA Physical Therapy (PT) license Experience in school-based settings or pediatric therapy strongly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy methods to accommodate students of varying ages and abilities Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP/504 plan goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to maximize student success Complete assessments, documentation, and progress reports in a timely manner Recommend appropriate adaptations, assistive equipment, and modifications for students Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as needed Maintain accurate records and confidentiality at all times
