Qualifications:
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Experience in hospital or outpatient therapy preferred Ability to evaluate and develop treatment plans tailored to patient goals and physician directives Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and design functional therapy programs aimed at safe patient discharge and return to community activities Provide clear, timely medical record documentation, including documentation of goals, quality indicators, and necessity letters Educate patients, families, students, and coworkers on therapy techniques and safety protocols Delegate appropriate therapy tasks, ensuring quality care for assigned caseloads Uphold standards related to personal appearance, clinical attendance, and compliance with all guidelines Foster a safe environment by adhering to best practices in patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety
