PT - Physical Therapist BrightStar Care is dedicated to providing a higher standard of care that empowers clients to live well at every stage of life. Our professional care team, led by a Registered Nurse Director of Nursing, is committed to delivering expert, compassionate, and personalized care 24/7.
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled PT (Physical Therapist) to join our team at BrightStar Care. The PT will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through effective rehabilitation strategies and personalized treatment plans. As a PT , your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities:
The PT will make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories The PT will perform diagnostic tests and measurements, including mobility/range of motion, transfer status, ambulation patterns, muscle strength and endurance, balance testing, and safety assessments The PT will develop and implement individualized care plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance interventions, and other treatments The PT will continually assess and revise the Physical Therapy (PT) care plan and collaborate with nursing on multidisciplinary care plans The PT will educate clients, family members, and caregivers on rehabilitative care and techniques to promote independence The PT will accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care
Qualifications:
Current Maryland PT (Physical Therapist) license required The PT must be able to work independently and manage time effectively Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills expected from the PT Solid computer skills; prior experience with EMR systems preferred for the PT role
Pay:
$80.00 - $90.00 per hour
