Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Unlock a rewarding opportunity to provide essential physical therapy services for students in a vibrant school community near Baltimore, MD. This summer position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping children build independence and confidence through expert therapeutic support, all while enjoying a balanced Monday-Thursday schedule.
Two contract opportunities are available:
Extended School Year (ESY): Provide in-person physical therapy services for a 5-week summer program from June 29th through July 30th. Attend a one-day professional development session on June 25th. Serve students for up to 6 hours per day, Monday through Thursday—24 hours per week. Special Education Schools operate from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, while general education schools run from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Infants and Toddlers Services & Assessments:
Deliver therapy and conduct assessments from June 22nd to July 30th, Monday through Thursday, with a maximum of 7 hours per day—28 hours per week. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong clinical skills, flexibility, and a passion for making an impact during the summer term.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current Physical Therapist license Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Ability to conduct both individual and group treatment sessions Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Capacity to support students with diverse physical and developmental needs

Evaluate and treat students in accordance with IEPs or individualized plans Complete timely documentation and communicate progress to educational teams Collaborate with educators and families to promote student success Participate in professional development as scheduled Enjoy a predictable workweek with Fridays off, giving you the flexibility to recharge and pursue your interests.
