Job Description

Phoenix Therapies+ is seeking a dynamic and dedicated pediatric PT to join our growing team in Harford County, MD! This role is a W2 position, part-time (that could easily grow to full-time), and will be a mix of in-clinic sessions, group skill building & parent education, as well as off-site partnerships (daycares, private schools, etc.) in both Harford County and Baltimore County (Towson). Phoenix Therapies+ is a therapist-owned and certified woman-owned private practice that provides customized speech, occupational therapy and education services based in our outpatient clinics in Bel Air and Forest Hill. We are looking to expand the services we provide to our families with the addition of individual physical therapy services. We promote quick and efficient carry-over and improved clinical outcomes towards patient goals. We are a small business that prides ourselves on encouraging all of our patients to rise above their challenges and discover their inner phoenix! The PT candidate will be expected to provide competent and compassionate therapy, while allowing for creativity and flexibility within the sessions. The candidate will be expected to represent Phoenix Therapies+ and honor the high expectations of providing the best physical therapy services for families in our community, while practicing at the top of their license. We evaluate and treat children of all ages with various conditions and challenges. The candidate should have competencies in working with early intervention, gross motor skills, strength, balance and coordination. The ideal candidate will also be open to learning additional skill sets and approaches and working collaboratively with other disciplines.

Responsibilities :
Provide physical therapy to children with needs in strength, balance, gross motor skills, and coordination. Administer, score and interpret tests for evaluation purposes Create treatment plans Consult with parents/caregivers and others as appropriate concerning child's physical therapy needs Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation of services provided to patients
Qualifications:
Education:
Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA accredited college/university
Licensure:
Current Maryland state license in
Physical Therapy Experience:
One (1) year as a pediatric Licensed Physical Therapist Additional certifications are a bonus but not required. Compensation is based on years of experience and competencies in areas within the scope of pediatric physical therapy.

$40.00
