  • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
  • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
  • Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
  • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
  • Ad to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory agency requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback through staff meetings, focus groups, or direct supervision channels Required Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Knowledge of and adnce to discipline-specific professional code of conduct and state practice act
  • Ability to complete clinical documentation accurately and in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
  • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and safe patient handling practices Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience in an outpatient or clinic-based physical therapy setting
  • Familiarity with functional quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and insurance authorization processes
