This outpatient Physical Therapist position is based in Clarksville, Maryland, a highly desirable community in Howard County. The area is well known for its strong public schools, safe and welcoming neighborhoods, and easy access to both Baltimore and Washington, DC. As a Physical Therapist in this setting, you will: Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including patient history, physical examination, and functional assessments Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address pain, mobility, strength, endurance, and functional goals Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and other modalities as clinically indicated Educate patients and families on diagnosis, prognosis, home exercise programs, and strategies for long-term wellness Collaborate closely with referring providers, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals Document all care in the clinic's EMR system accurately and in a timely manner Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on patient outcomes and clinical quality Typical caseload consists of adult and adolescent patients with orthopedic and sports conditions such as post-operative knees and shoulders, spine-related pain, overuse injuries, and general musculoskeletal dysfunction. Daily schedules are designed to balance patient volume with quality of care, and patient flow is supported by PTAs and support staff where available. Expected hours are generally full-time with weekday shifts; some clinics may offer early morning or evening appointments to accommodate patient schedules.
