Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a positive impact this summer by delivering essential Physical Therapy services to students in an educational environment. Two contract opportunities are available, supporting the Extended School Year (ESY) program and infants and toddlers assessments. These positions are on-site at school campuses in the greater Baltimore area, offering the chance to help children thrive while enjoying a four-day workweek and structured daily hours.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Maryland professional licensure as a Physical Therapist Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred Ability to provide services and conduct assessments for students across age groups, including infants, toddlers, and school-age children Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Availability to work on-site Monday through Thursday during the specified summer weeks Completion of district-imposed background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review in accordance with regulatory requirements Preparedness to provide image documentation of required licenses and credentials
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct physical therapy services per student IEPs or individual assessments Conduct evaluations and progress monitoring for assigned caseload Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in on-site professional development (scheduled for June 25th) Complete required credentialing and prescreen interviews as part of onboarding
Opportunities Available:
ESY Program:
Serve students on-site June 29th-July 30th, Monday-Thursday, up to 24 hours per week in either special education or general education settings
Infants and Toddlers Assessments:
Work June 22nd-July 30th, Monday-Thursday, up to 28 hours per week, supporting early intervention Contribute your expertise to support students' growth this summer.
