Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference by supporting students' growth as a Physical Therapist in a dynamic school setting on a contract basis. You'll collaborate with passionate educators and specialists, utilizing your expertise to help students reach their fullest potential both in and out of the classroom.
Key Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with current PT licensure Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or similar setting is a plus Understanding of IEP processes and school-based therapy documentation Strong assessment, intervention planning, and communication skills Familiarity with assistive devices and adaptive equipment Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary education team Compassionate, student-centered approach and adaptability in varied school environments
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct physical therapy services to students with a range of physical and developmental needs Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans based on student assessments and IEP goals Document progress and maintain records in compliance with school and state regulations Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers to create supportive learning environments Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and contribute to multidisciplinary planning Educate staff and family members on strategies for reinforcing physical therapy goals throughout the school day This contract opportunity allows you to bring your specialized skills to a school community that values excellence and inclusivity.
