Key Qualifications:

Licensed Physical Therapist with active credentials in Maryland Previous experience working with students in school-based settings preferred Strong understanding of IEPs, goal-setting, and treatment documentation Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Adaptability to meet varying needs of students and school staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group physical therapy sessions as prescribed in students' IEPs Assess motor skills and functional mobility to develop appropriate therapy plans Monitor and document student progress; adjust interventions as necessary Educate and consult with teachers and families on therapy techniques to support student success Maintain clear and timely records, ensuring compliance with school and state requirements Participate in team meetings and collaborate on strategies to enhance student participation This role offers the rewarding opportunity to directly influence students' growth and accessibility during a key time in their education.
