Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract opportunity offers two unique caseloads: one position supporting Early Intervention services (11-month assignment) and another serving K-12 students. Both roles start August 10th, 2026, and conclude June 17th, 2027. Enjoy a dynamic, full-time schedule and collaborate alongside dedicated educational professionals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license required Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and implementation for diverse student needs Clear communicator and positive team collaborator Flexible approach, ready to adapt to evolving school schedules and student requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct physical therapy services to early childhood and K-12 students to promote functional mobility and participation Conduct thorough evaluations, document findings, and develop individualized treatment plans Consult with teachers, special education teams, and families to maximize student outcomes Support IEP development and participate in multidisciplinary meetings as needed Maintain accurate records and follow district guidelines and special education protocols Promote best practices for physical therapy in a school environment, adapting techniques to meet each child's needs Enjoy the advantages of a contract schedule and experience the satisfaction of helping students achieve their full physical potential.
