Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist working full-time in a school-based setting near Stevensville, MD. This onsite position spans an 11-month assignment, giving you valuable experience while making a positive impact on students' lives throughout the school year.   • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and therapy documentation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other related service professionals
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for students of all abilities Key responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized and group physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
  • Assess students' motor skills, develop treatment plans, and set functional goals
  • Document all services rendered and progress notes according to district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and other team-based planning sessions
  • Educate and consult with staff and family members regarding strategies to support student mobility and access
