We are seeking a motivated enthusiastic Physical Therapist for our brand new outpatient clinic in Westminster! We are opening late August/early September but looking to hire someone now. This provider would be trained at another location until we are set to open our new office. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a physical therapist. This position is a great opportunity to connect one-on-one with a patient and work towards building and growing a clinic. This is a collaborative environment working with our physician assistants and physicians at this location and our other locations.

    The physical Therapist is responsible for performing an initial evaluation and treatment for orthopedic surgical patients both prehab and post-op as well as chronic and acute pain and injuries. The purpose of the treatment is to help restore function, relieve pain, and restore overall function. This location would be connected to our physicians walk in clinic.
    Physical Therapist Duties:
    Duties include but are not limited to
    • 100% Direct patient care
    • Documentation in Medical Record
    • Conducts comprehensive initial evaluations-Administers Physical Therapy treatments to help manage pain, increase Range of Motion, improve strength, gait, and balance training, manage, and train with Home exercise programs
    • Abides by all insurance guidelines-Assess affects of treatments and reassess if needed every 30 days-Documents and selects appropriate CPT codes for billing-Participates in all team therapy meetings with OrthoMarylandPhysical Therapist RequirementsCompletion of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy programLicensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of MarylandOrthopedic experience required
