Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in pediatric physical therapy to a supportive educational setting near Westbrook, ME! Enjoy the flexibility of a contract role while making a meaningful difference in the lives of students. This position offers a part-time schedule at 20 hours per week, serving school-aged children who benefit from dedicated and skilled PT care. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families in designing individualized approaches that support each student's physical development.
Qualifications and Experience:
A valid physical therapy license in the state of Maine (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience providing PT services to school-aged children, preferably in a school or pediatric environment Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to adapt PT plans for diverse learning and physical needs Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment used in educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
