Required Qualifications & Experience:

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Demonstrated experience providing hospital-based therapy services Proficient with assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in line with physical therapy standards Experience delegating tasks to Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides Commitment to patient-centered care and team collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patient function via formal and informal testing to determine skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status Create and implement goal-specific treatment regimens, based on assessment data and patient tolerance, as prescribed Develop and submit written treatment plans to be included in the patient's overall plan of care; update as needed for patient status changes Schedule treatments with attention to frequency and duration, collaborating with patients, families, and clinical support staff Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding pathology, prognosis, treatment options, and rationale through both direct instruction and supportive modalities
