Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation resultsProvide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelinesDocument findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregiversResponsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation techniciansComplete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goalsImplement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatmentsCommunicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companiesQualificationsGraduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program. Current state of MI license and CPR certificationAbility to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans or willingness to learnAbility to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environmentBasic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office,Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a strong plus.
