Job Description

Job Summary Chiron Sports Performance is seeking a high-level Performance Specialist to join our physician-led sports medicine and performance practice in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. This role is ideal for an Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist, or similar rehab/performance professional with experience in athlete development, return-to-play progression, movement assessment, and performance training. This is not a standard outpatient clinic role and not a basic trainer role. This position is for someone who can operate at the intersection of sports medicine, rehab, and performance while delivering a high-level experience for athletes and active individuals. Responsibilities Lead athlete-facing sessions in a professional and organized manner Assist with movement evaluations, performance testing, and return-to-play progressions Develop and implement individualized performance and recovery plans Monitor athlete progress and adjust programming as needed Collaborate closely with the physician on athlete care plans and restrictions Support injury prevention, athlete education, and long-term development strategies Maintain strong documentation, communication, and professionalism Help create an elevated client experience and support facility operations Qualifications Relevant degree, license, certification, or professional credentials Experience working with athletes or active populations Experience with movement assessment, performance training, and return-to-play progression Strong communication, organization, and professionalism Ability to work collaboratively in a physician-led sports medicine and performance environment Preferred Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist, Sports PT, or similar background Experience in sports rehab, collegiate athletics, private performance, or orthopedic settings Familiarity with performance technology, force plate testing, VALD, or similar systems Strength and conditioning knowledge is a plus Benefits Paid time off Major holidays off Professional development support Potential certification / conference support Health stipend opportunity after introductory period Opportunity to grow within an early-stage physician-led performance company Apply Send your resume and brief introduction to: thedrohmd@gmail.com
