• Travel healthcare, Contract Global Service Resources is looking for a contract Physical Therapist for a Tenet rehabilitation center in Detroit, MI.

Pay Rate:

$60 to $62/hr on W2

Schedule:

M-F 8AM to 4:30

PM Contract:

13 Weeks with a high chance of extension

Requirements:

• At least 12 full months of Physical Therapist experience within the last 3 years
• Must have a license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan
• Must be able to pass drug and background check
• Must have updated medical records and vaccinations
• Candidates who have worked at other tenet facilities within the last 12 months are not eligible fore rehire until a full 12 months has passed.

Some Duties Include:

Patient Evaluation:

Assess motor, neurological, and physical capabilities using specialized tests to establish baseline function and treatment goals.

Hands-On Therapy:

Administer standard physical therapy procedures, including therapeutic exercises, electrical stimulation, traction, and ultrasound.

Equipment Training:

Instruct patients on safely utilizing rehabilitative equipment like braces, splints, and ambulation aids (e.g., walkers, crutches).

Care Documentation:

Maintain medical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

Family Education & Home Care:

Design customized home care programs and educate patients and their families on exercises and safe mobility during and after hospitalization.

Team Collaboration:

Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to report on patient progress and coordinate care with physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses + more Please note: Personal documents and references will be collected. You will not receive the same benefits as a direct employee of the facility. However, you will be able to sign up for Kaiser healthcare and Delta dental after 90 days of employment.
