Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Deliver exceptional rehabilitative care in a hospital environment by leveraging your experience and passion for physical therapy. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional ready to make an immediate difference for patients recovering and regaining mobility.
Qualifications:
Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Previous experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage patients and collaborate with healthcare team members Ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and needs CPR certification required
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patient physical abilities and create individualized treatment plans to address rehabilitation goals Administer therapy interventions to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability Document patient progress, update care plans, and maintain accurate records according to hospital guidelines Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and home-care strategies Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement within the therapy department
