Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Bring your expertise in physical therapy to a dynamic hospital environment, delivering high-quality care and support to a diverse patient population. This contract opportunity offers the chance to enhance patient outcomes, work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and develop your clinical skills in an engaging healthcare setting.
Key Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with an active, valid state license Previous hospital-based therapy experience highly preferred Proficient in assessment, planning, and implementing individualized therapy programs Strong communication and documentation abilities Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Current BLS certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients according to evidence-based physical therapy guidelines Develop personalized care plans and set attainable goals to improve mobility and function Document patient progress and maintain accurate, timely clinical records Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercises, and recovery strategies Participate in discharge planning and recommendations for ongoing therapy needs Maintain compliance with facility policies and all governing regulations If you are dedicated to making a meaningful impact in hospital-based therapy and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting, this position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your skills and grow professionally.
